Presenting authors will be notified of the assigned date and time of presentation. No changes in dates or times will be permitted.

Submission of an abstract obligates the presenting author to register for the meeting and present the abstract at the ISLS2019 at the assigned date and time if accepted.
All correspondence will be conducted via e-mail with the presenting author of the abstract.
Abstracts that are selected for oral presentation must be delivered by an author who speaks and understands English well enough to ensure satisfactory understanding by the audience.
There are no restrictions on the number of abstracts you may submit, or on the number of abstracts you may present.
Please carefully proofread your abstract and all author information prior to submission!
All abstracts submitted for presentation at the ISLS 2019 meeting are subject to a blinded, peer-review process.
All abstracts must be submitted online at the submission deadline, video or otherwise, is August 31, 2019 This deadline will be strictly enforced and no exceptions will be made.
All accepted abstracts for oral and poster presentation will appear in an abstract book
Preparation of Abstracts
All abstracts submitted must conform to the guidelines below.
All abstracts must be submitted online—no abstracts will be accepted by mail, fax, e-mail, or overnight service.

Abstracts must be submitted in ENGLISH as this is the official language of the ISLS2019.
Title—The title should be concise and clearly reflect the content of the paper.
Authors—An accurate e-mail address must be entered for each author. Only one person can be designated as the presenting author. The maximum number of authors is 20. Once all authors have been added, profile information must be entered for each person. The submission must also include the location of the institution where the work was done. If the work was not performed at an institution, then list only the city and state.
Body—Abstracts should be structured with the following subheadings: Background/Aims, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion. Do not include any of the following author information within the abstract body: direct or indirect reference to author institution(s), titles, positions, or institutional appointments. Abstracts submitted as Clinical Vignettes/Case Reports should provide a report on the case(s). The size limit for the body of the abstract is 2,500 characters, including spaces.
Images and Tables—Up to 3 images can be uploaded, and up to 2 tables can be created. Please limit images and/or figures and/or tables to a combined total of three. Required image format is JPG only, and minimum resolution is 300 dpi for photographic images, and 1,000 dpi for line art and other graphics. Images and tables do not count towards the 2,500 character limit.
Drug Names—Abstracts cannot contain any advertising, corporate logo, trade name, or a product-group message of commercial interest. Do not use proprietary names in the abstract. Generic names are typed in lower case.
Categories—One of the categories listed below must be designated for each abstract submission.
It is extremely important that each abstract is properly categorized so that it will go to the appropriate review group.

Notification of Acceptance and Registration Requirement
Notification of abstract acceptance as an oral or poster presentation will be sent via e-mail to the presenting author.
Presenting authors whose abstract has been accepted MUST register** as an attendee for the ISLS 2019.

Video File Requirements
- Videos should be no longer than 5 minutes.
- Videos may not contain background music.
- Only video files submitted in the following formats will be reviewed for consideration: mpeg, and mp4. Only freely available players (e.g., QuickTime, Real Player, Microsoft Windows Media Player,) should be required for viewing the video.
- The videos size maximum should be not exceed 200 MB.
- Videos should not use special codecs (coders/decoders) in order to provide as much portability across platforms as possible.
Video Production Requirements
- No video may contain any advertising, corporate logo, trade name, or product-group message of commercial interest*.
- The video may not contain any copyrighted information (images, videos, photos,
etc.) without written consent from the original source of the copyrighted work.

NOTE: There will be heavy site traffic during the days leading up to the deadline, so plan accordingly and do not wait until the last minute to submit your abstract! The site will be shut down promptly on August 31, 2019 at 11:59 pm Universal Coordinated Time UTC, and NO extensions will be granted. Once you begin an abstract submission, you will be able to save your work and return to complete it up until the submission deadline; ISLS encourages all submitters to begin the process early!
